LAND OF THE ICE AND SNOW ON VALENTINES DAY

History of Valentines Day <3
It all started with a Roman Priest named Valentine. A romantic at heart, he disobeyed Emperor Claudius II's decree that soldiers remain bachelors. Claudius believed that soldiers would be distracted and unable to concentrate on fighting if they were married or engaged. Valentine defied the emperor and secretly performed marriage ceremonies. As a result of his defiance, Valentine was put to death on February 14.
Afterwards, he was named a saint.  And so it goes..
I know, I know.  You're sick of the snow and the cold and your commute's a pain in the arse!(especially if you fall on it)
However, after spotting these amazing fotos on my friends timeline, I had to ask Maria Conigliaro if she would mind sharing with us! They take my breath away!

Thanks Maria!  Follow her on Instagram @bellasiciliana05 and on Facebook Bella Siciliana

Here's a wintery smoky eye look that I recently created for a client attending a wedding.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY EVERYONE!
   See you soon!
