My mother was a natural beauty and still is.  The extent of her "beauty" routine was pinching her cheeks to give her perfect olive skin a bit of color. Once a month she would beat an egg white mixed with sour cream and lemon juice and use it as a face mask for 15 minutes. Every night she would use (and still does) Nivea Face Cream.  For special occasions she'll wear a peach lipstick from Estee Lauder.  That's it!!!

Oh, how I longed to be so low-maintenance!
Moi? I have to work a little bit harder for beauty.  I'm not complaining because I've learned a lot of tricks along the way and I'm happy to share them with you!

The numero uno most important thing is good skin care.
In the morning cleanse, moisturize and protect with sunscreen.
I love Garnier BB Creme because it's a moisturizer, sun protection, tint and primer all in one!  Oh, and it's dirt cheap!

In the evening, cleanse, treat (I like retinol products from Vichy and La Roche Posay) and moisturize.
There is no getting around have to wash off all of your makeup and the soot that accumulates through out the day!
Ole Henriksen has the most amazing anti-aging foaming cleanser...and it smells sooo good!

Once or twice a week use a mask that is appropriate for you skin type.
I'm still oily so I use a clay mask.
If you have dry skin try a moisture mask.

Ren makes some really good masks for every skin type.

Go for deep cleaning facials four times a year.  This is especially important if you have large pores and oily skin.  You wouldn't believe the stuff that creeps into your skin!

Stay the hell out of the sun unless you have on a super high SPF.
Stay the hell away from Tanning Beds.

Stay the hell away from toxic relationships with toxic people. They will make you look and feel ugly...De-Friend them on Facebook, Remove them from your Contacts, Stop Texting them back!!!!
(This may be THE most important beauty tip of them all!!!)

Eat organic whenever possible...GREENS, fresh fruit, lean protein...DO NOT DEPRIVE's all about balance...I have some chocolate every day. I have one glass of red wine every day. Balance..Balance...Balance.. And don't forget your multi-vitamins!
Go for a massage whenever you feel tense.

Find some things that you are passionate about and do them OFTEN...

Exercise, Sweat, Run, Dance, Sweat, Do Yoga, Ballet, Zumba...Sweat... Sweat... Sweat.... get those toxins OUT!

Treat people with respect and do not judge.

Fall madly in love...with YOURSELF!

Stay tuned for my favorite makeup products...

See you Soon!
