After having an enormous cup of java and a toasted Trader Joe's bagel, I took a drive to Van Saun Park in Paramus, NJ (about 10 miles north of Manhattan)

Blonde bonding.

"Girl, I love your lashes but you need a deep conditioner for that mane!"

I'm loving "Marilyn" hair treatment from Lush. I put it on dry hair about 20 minutes before I take a shower and then shampoo it out. This conditioner contains chamomile so it will make your hair lighter and brighter!

My all time favorite mascara is "Big Fatty" by Urban Decay! Crazy long and thick lashes await you..

See you soon!

"I'm dancing barefoot
heading for a spin
some strange music draws me in
makes me come on like some heroin/e"

Patti Smith, "The Godmother of Punk", was at the Union Square Barnes and Noble on June, 7!!

Patti recited from her latest memoire, WOOL-GATHERING

I was told that The Cry are young men that sound just like The Ramones..
This Headless Hipster in a vintage blazer and Johnny Thunder tee wanted to remain anonymous...
I had no idea that Patti and the band were going to perform three songs (world premiere) from her latest album, BANGA!  One of the songs was written as a tribute to the late Amy Winehouse.

Fact:  Patti was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2007.
What an amazing night!

"In the sheets
there was a man
dancing around
to the simple
Rock & roll

I took a short road trip with my friend up to Nyack, NY on Memorial Day.
Nyack is about 20 miles north of Manhattan on the West Bank of the Hudson River.
We had delicious Mediterranean food at the Art Cafe and walked around this laid back village.
There is definitely a Bohemian vibe going on here..with the cobblestone streets, organic markets, vintage shops, second-hand bookstores, men with long hair and women with dreads. The scent of Patchouli seemed to be radiating from everywhere.  I can dig least for one day!
Thrown in with the pics that I took are some BOHO shots I found on Tumblr and the latest Italian Vogue...

See you soon!
