I hope you're all enjoying the start of Holiday SeasonRemember to always take some time out for yourself everyday to restore your sense of calm. These can be challenging days for us..working long hours, running around to parties, planning a bash, cleaning, cooking, baking, stressing about what to wear, stressing about fitting into what we wear, working out, getting dolled up, trying to get the perfect gifts for everyone on your list, wondering how the hec you're going to pay for all know what I mean. Take a  few deep breaths, remember the true spirit of this season and have fun!  Our family and dear friends will love us no matter what!
People have been asking me if I'm still doing makeup for special events and photo shoots.  Of course!   Go to my Makeup Website:     I also love to snap pics of cool people and things around the city!   Here are some of my most recent sightings...enjoy!

Hey, that's ME on the right, with fellow makeup artist, Farida. I almost never wear PURPLE eyeshadow but I was getting bored with my usual palette of browns and golds. I thought I'd try Laura Mercier's new baked wet/dry eye colour in Violet Sky. I smudged on some LM eyeliner in Black Violet as well.  The verdict is still pending...give it a Go or hell to the No???
*For a more subtle look, try LM's baked eye colour in Ballet Pink. It's got just the right amount of sheen and a hint of pink.

Some Holiday looks I love...taken from my favorite magazine of all time ...VOGUE!

MUSIC continues to be one of the greatest passions and influences in my life....

This post is dedicated to Artists all over the world who are creating a positive impact on our society.  We Salute You!

NYC/Musician Kevin Patrick, former keyboard player with the band "Blondie" (one of my favorites)
Kevin's hat is from Beacon's Closet in Brooklyn, Shades are Smith Optiks, Sweater is Ralph Lauren, Coat is Banana Republic, Bag Fossil Classic and Shoes Cole Haan.

Kevin is the co-founder of Share The Mic, a really cool non-profit, that discovers, trains and connects new musical performers to global humanitarian causes.
Please stay tuned for more on STM and maybe I can even find out what's on Kevin's i-pod!

Fun Fact: Blondie gave a shout out to Grandmaster Flash and Fab Five Freddy (early pioneers of Hip Hop) on their song "Rapture" back in 1981.  The video was shot in The East Village.

USA/ Dotan Negrin travels across America with his truck, his dog and his upright piano playing on the streets of some of our biggest cities.  (I took this pic of him in Union Square)
He hopes to inspire people to pursue their dreams!         PianoAcrossAmerica

New Jersey/Musician/Technical Engineer John Bednar wearing a Ben Sherman button down, Lucky Brand jeans and Fluevog shoes.
He played a charity gig with The Don Manzo All Star Band last month to raise money for breast cancer awareness. "Jersey Boy" that I admire...
Bruce Springsteen...tougher than the rest!

Maryland/The Impact Society gives back by creating after school MUSIC AND ART programs for teens.  They believe (and I won't argue) that music has the power to transcend differences and bring people together.

  Central Park on Sunday, 11/13//11

 Beauty and The Busk

Check out The Dirty Urchins (not an insult...the name of the band!)   They smash rock, folk, jazz, blues and country all together!

I was brought to tears by The Boyd Family's version of Ave Maria (accompanied by violinist Meredith Rachel)

Strumming right along...Harpist Meta Epstein.

Via Italy, Composer/Concertist Gianluca Fronda and New York City Violinist Meredith Rachel making beautiful music together...
